Apparently Senator Obama likes Star Trek, but I don't think folks are clear on his views on the space program. Two articles to read:
I disagree with Obama's comments. To me it doesn't seem he udnerstands what the Vision for Space Exploration is all about ("moon, Mars, and beyond"). That does seem inspiring to me. No more low-earth orbit missions except for a supporting a space station that will be used as an asset for moon, Mars, and beyond.
What gives Barak?
