Did Obama read my blog?

Ok, I know this sounds crazy, but I really think President Elect Barack Obama read my blog a few weeks ago.  Here's why I think this is the case...

• For a while if you typed in "Obama and NASA" into Google, this blog post would come up as the second link (as of this writing I've been bumped down to the second page).
• Senator Obama took a break from campagining a while ago in Hawaii.  I use Google Analytics to tell me where my visitors are from.  Don't be concerned, I only see the town and not your actual street address or phone number or anything like that.
• That same week Senator Obama was on vacation, I noticed hits from Hawaii on my blog.

Therefore, I can only come to the logical conclusion that he read my blog about his thoughts on NASA.

Ok, maybe I'm crazy.  The cool thing is that space exploration has been fun to blog about and the top reason why people come to my site (according to the stats).

...and for the record as I've been following the campaigns I've been happy to see Senator Obama clarify his position which is in favor space exploration.  It's still early to tell how he will handle the space shuttle retirement in 2010 without a new spacecraft ready to take over or funding of the further development of the moon and Mars rockets.

President Elect Obama, if you're looking for a new NASA administrator please e-mail me.
